Vendor/Seller Policy for Abikol
Welcome to Abikol! We are excited to have you as a vendor on our platform. This Vendor Policy outlines the rules, guidelines, and expectations for all vendors selling products through our marketplace. By registering as a vendor/Seller and listing your products, you agree to adhere to the terms and conditions outlined below.
1. Vendor/Seller Registration and Account Management:
- Eligibility: Vendors must be legally able to enter into binding contracts. You must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.
- Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your vendor/Seller account, including your username and password. You are also responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
- Information Accuracy: You must ensure that all information provided in your vendor profile, including your business name, contact details, and return address, is accurate and kept up-to-date.
- Sub-accounts/Team Members: If you utilize Abikol‘s sub-account features, you are responsible for the actions of your team members and ensuring they also comply with this policy.
2. Product Listings:
- Accuracy: All product listings must be accurate, complete, and not misleading. This includes clear and concise descriptions, high-quality images, accurate pricing, and correct shipping information.
- Compliance with Laws: You are solely responsible for ensuring that your products and product listings comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, including those related to product safety, labeling, and intellectual property.
- Prohibited Items: You are prohibited from listing and selling any items that are illegal, dangerous, or violate our marketplace’s list of prohibited items (which may be provided separately).
- Intellectual Property: You must own the rights to the products you list or have the necessary permissions to sell them. You may not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others (e.g., trademarks, copyrights, patents).
- Product Variations: If offering product variations (e.g., size, color), ensure these are clearly presented and managed within the Abikol interface.
- Stock Management: You are responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels within Abikol. Failure to fulfill orders due to insufficient stock may result in penalties.
3. Pricing and Payments:
- Pricing Responsibility: You have the sole responsibility for setting the prices of your products. Prices must be clearly displayed and inclusive of all applicable taxes (unless otherwise specified).
- Transaction Fees: You understand and agree to pay the commission or transaction fees as outlined in our separate Fee Schedule. These fees will be deducted from your sales proceeds.
- Payment Processing: Payments from customers will be processed through our designated payment gateway(s). Payouts to vendors will be made according to the schedule and methods specified by Abikol.
- Refunds and Returns: You are responsible for processing refunds and returns in accordance with our Marketplace Return Policy (which may be provided separately) and applicable consumer protection laws.
4. Shipping and Fulfillment:
- Shipping Options and Costs: You must clearly specify your shipping options, costs, and estimated delivery times in your product listings.
- Order Fulfillment: You are responsible for fulfilling orders promptly and professionally. This includes proper packaging and timely shipment of products.
- Shipping Information: You must provide accurate tracking information for all shipped orders through the Abikol interface.
- Shipping Responsibility: You are responsible for any loss or damage to products during shipping unless otherwise agreed upon.
5. Customer Service and Communication:
- Responsiveness: You are expected to respond to customer inquiries and messages promptly and professionally through the Abikol messaging system.
- Issue Resolution: You are responsible for resolving customer issues, complaints, and disputes in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Language and Tone: All communication with customers should be respectful, courteous, and in the language(s) supported by our marketplace.
6. Reviews and Ratings:
- Customer Feedback: You understand that customers may leave reviews and ratings for your products and services. We encourage you to engage with feedback constructively.
- Manipulation: You are strictly prohibited from manipulating reviews or ratings in any way.
7. Compliance and Conduct:
- Adherence to Policies: You agree to comply with this Vendor/Seller Policy, our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and any other policies or guidelines provided by Abikol.
- Ethical Conduct: You are expected to conduct your business ethically and honestly.
- Communication with Marketplace: You agree to maintain open and honest communication with the marketplace administrators.
- Suspension or Termination: Abikol reserves the right to suspend or terminate your vendor account and remove your listings if you violate this Vendor/Seller Policy or engage in any conduct that we deem harmful to our marketplace or its users.
8. Amendments to this Policy:
- Abikol reserves the right to modify or update this Vendor Policy at any time. We will notify vendors of any significant changes. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
